One of my favorite movies is the recently released “Us” by Jordan Peele. The movie is about a women name Adelaide Wilson that goes on a vacation with her husband, daughter, and son to a beach that she had been to in her childhood. She was nervous a bout taking the trip because she had been through a terrifying experience a at the beach when she was a little girl. As she began to have flashbacks that frightened her 4 masked individuals proceeded to break into there house. The 4 masked individuals turned out to be replicas of Adelaide family. Just as the Wilson family had replicas, so did everyone else. The replicas had a goal to be set free and there way of doing it was to kill the originals. The plot twist was that when Adelaide was at the beach as a child she was abducted by her replica and switched. Meaning the leader of the replicas was Adelaide who was actually a replica.

I have been writing essays for the majority of my schooling career. The one most vivid was a proctored essay to see where I would be placed in the private high school I attended. There was a detrimental a reason I felt this particular essay was difficult for me. The day before the exam my best friend got into a car accident and had to me be a rush into the hospital. She had to stay overnight and I refused to leave her side. The result of this was I did not get adequate sleep. The effect did not hit me until I was 10 mins into my 60 min essay when I slowly began to feel drowsy. When I abruptly awoke the proctor was collecting everyone’s paper.

My favorite childhood book was “No, David!” by David Shannon. This book is about a mother always having to tell her son, David, “No”. Although, she constantly has to tell David to stop doing things it never changes the way she feels about him. This is my favorite book because of the theme of the story I can relate too. I was never a prefect child nor a prefect young adult, and sometimes my mom has to tell me “No”. I may be mad at the moment, but there is always a reason for everything. Furthermore, no matter what I do I know my mom will never love me any less or stop loving me completely. This book shows love conquers all, and that is why I love this book so much.

This blog is to provide information about myself, so the reader can better understand me. The purpose is to get to know the writer without really knowing the writer. For example, before someone reads a book and the biography of the author, the reader knows nothing about the book nor the author. When the book and biography are read, he or she will know some facts about the author. Although the reader may not know the author in real life, he or she still gets a better understanding of who the author is and his or her life story. I feel this blog is good because no one knows anything about each other. Readers might expect to have something in common with others.
